Hamam packing list
The list is short. Most of what you need is either on you already or waiting at the hamam.

Short answer
Pack swimwear (it stays on the whole time), dry underwear for afterwards and a comb or hairbrush. The hamam hands you a towel and a peştemal wrap. Valuables are best left at the hotel, and keep the meal beforehand light.
Pack
- Swimwear or a bikini — on for the entire visit
- Dry underwear for the ride back
- A comb or hairbrush
- Comfortable clothes that are easy to take off and put back on
- Money for anything you might decide on beyond the price — a tip for the attendants, say, or a longer massage at the hamam (neither is included)
Provided at the hamam
- A towel
- A peştemal — the traditional hamam wrap
Everything in the Basic Hamam itself — sauna, steam room, kese, foam and the oil massage — is included, as is the transfer. See the prices page for exactly what the fare covers.

- Jewellery and valuables
- Anything you would not want to get wet or soapy
Before you leave the hotel
- Keep the meal before light, and skip alcohol.
- Be ready at the pickup time we sent you for your hotel.
- Tell the hamam about any health condition before your session.

Do I need to bring my own towel?
No need — the hamam gives you a towel and a peştemal wrap.
Can I travel there already wearing my swimwear?
Yes — or change into it when you arrive. Either way, it stays on for the entire visit.
