The included oil massage

It follows the heat, the scrub and the foam: about 20 minutes of basic massage with aromatic oil. It sits inside the €20 adult fare — nothing to add, nothing extra to pay.

The 20 minutes are approximate. We would rather say "about" than promise a stopwatch.

It cannot be booked on its own here: it comes inside the Basic Hamam, after the kese and the foam.

The foam is not the massage

Two parts of the programme are easy to confuse. The foam treatment is a wash: the attendant covers you in soap foam and works it over the body. The oil massage is a separate step that follows it. Both are included. Kese and foam, explained goes through the washing half in detail.

Upgrades: where they stand

We do not sell premium massage upgrades online yet — sports, Thai, aromatherapy, chocolate or any other — because we only publish prices we can guarantee. When an upgrade can be booked here, it will appear on the booking screen with its price next to it, before you confirm.

Until then, a longer or different massage is arranged at the hamam itself, which offers extended and other treatments on the day at its own prices, paid to the hamam directly. A WhatsApp message to us before your day gets you more detail.

Who the massage is for

The massage stages are designed for adults. Children come into the hamam with a parent — please write their ages in your booking.

The hamam is not recommended during pregnancy or with heart or circulatory conditions. If you are sensitive to heat or humidity, or under medical care, get your doctor's advice first and tell the hamam before your session starts.

Asking for an attendant of the same gender

You can ask for one. Tick the box when you book, or mention it in your message, and we pass it on with your booking.
